Terms of Use

1. Definition

EIN – Foundation “European Investor Network”, registered entity in Latvia, listed in the Register of Enterprises under registration number 40008341457, with registered address at Marijas Street 18A-10, Riga, LV-1011, Latvia.

Portal – The portal accessible at https://european-investors-network.com/.

User – A person who accesses or uses the Portal.

Client – A person who has paid for an EIN Service or subscription.

Password – A combination of letters and/or numerical digits used for authentication.

Service – Any service offered on the Portal that the User has activated.

Startup Membership – A participation programme designed for startups.

User Profile – A personal user account created on the Portal.

Terms – These European Investor Network Portal Terms of Use.

2. General Provisions

2.1. These Terms are binding upon every Service subscriber who has registered on or uses the Portal.

2.2. These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the Republic of Latvia.

2.3. Personal data shall be processed in accordance with the EIN Privacy Policy.

3. EIN Rights and Obligations

3.1. EIN may restrict or terminate User access if these Terms are violated.

3.2. EIN may modify these Terms at any time. Continued use constitutes acceptance.

3.3. EIN may send commercial notifications unless the User opts out.

3.4. EIN may suspend Portal operation for maintenance.

3.5. EIN may engage external service providers.

3.6. EIN is not liable for technical disruptions or maintenance-related losses.

3.7. EIN is not liable for force majeure events.

3.8. EIN is not liable for unauthorized access using User credentials.

3.9. EIN is not liable for indirect or consequential damages.

3.10. EIN’s total liability shall not exceed EUR 10,000.

3.11. EIN may modify Portal content and functionality without notice.

4. User Rights and Obligations

4.1. The User must keep login credentials confidential.

4.2. The User shall not misuse the Portal or engage in unlawful activity.

4.3. Service provision begins upon activation.

4.4. The User is responsible for all payments made using their credentials.

4.5. The User may unsubscribe from commercial notifications.

4.6. Sharing access credentials constitutes authorization.

4.7. EIN does not guarantee investment attraction.

5. Service Fees and Termination

5.1. Service fees are published on the Portal.

5.2. Upon activation, the User loses the right of withdrawal.

5.3. Automatic payments may be applied.

5.4. EIN may discontinue Services for payment or compliance issues.

5.5. The User may terminate Services via the Portal.

5.6. Automatic payments may be interrupted for technical reasons.

6. Intellectual Property Rights

6.1. All content is protected by copyright laws.

6.2. Violations may result in immediate termination.

6.3. Confidential information must not be disclosed.

6.4. EIN undertakes to protect User confidentiality.

7. Startup Membership and Participation Guidelines

7.1. Membership Benefits

  • Updates, news, and information
  • Networking with members and investors
  • Access to services and events

7.2. Partner Consultations

  • Information about partners
  • Sharing startup data with advisors
  • Consultation fees borne by the member

7.3. Pitch Deck

Members may share pitch decks and are responsible for accuracy.

7.4. Access to Information of Other Members

  • Compliance with admission requirements
  • Legal compliance
  • Acceptance of NDA

7.5. General Provisions

Members must act in good faith and respect confidentiality.

8. Miscellaneous Provisions

8.1. Disputes shall be resolved through negotiation or Latvian courts.

8.2. All Portal content is the property of EIN and may not be reused without permission.
